Successful Management of IBS-C in Primary Care: Barriers to Care. Patient Scenarios. Knowledge Mastery. | Posted on 4/13/2009, | Presenters: Brooks Cash, MD; Louis Kuritzky, MD | Irritable Bowel Syndrome with Constipation (IBS-C) is a condition that affects a significant portion of the population and leads to reduced quality of life. Increasing awareness among primary care physicians is essential to understanding not only the prevalence of IBS-C in women, but to more closely comprehending the needs and concerns of patients themselves.
