Program Overview

The activity utilizes a case-led format focusing on complex GERD to include managing ongoing heartburn despite PPI therapy and possible long-term complications. GERD in patients with multiple co-morbidities will be considered in obese and in older patients. The final case reviews the possible association of NERD/GERD and IBS and implications for management.
